Tsuruma Park

Constructed in 1909. "Sakura" cherry blossom (PHOTO) time is early April. Japan Cherry Blossom Association selected Tsuruma Park as Top 100 of Japan.
When you ride a train, be careful; the name of the park sounds "tsuruma", but the name of the station you get off sounds "tsurumai".


Tokugawaen Gardens and Tokugawa Art Museum

Constructed in 1695 by Tokugawa Mitsutomo who is a grandson of Tokugawa Ieyasu.
Tokugawa Art Museum owns daimyo-dogu, etc.

Higashiyama Zoo and Botanical Gardens at Higashiyama Park

Port of Nagoya Public Aquarium at Garden Pier

The Fuji Antarctic Museum and "VILLAGGIO ITALIA" The Italian Village are also located at Garden Pier.


Nana-chan at MEITETSU Department Store "Young (Seven)"

6.1m (20ft) tall mannequin, constructed in 1973 as 1st anniversary monument of MEITETSU Department Store "Seven".
"Seven" sounds "Nana" in Japanese. MEITETSU Department Store "Seven" changed its name to "Young".
